Volunteers
Since January 2007, volunteers have been working tirelessly to create one of the largest community-built playgrounds ever! Our thanks to the members of Site Based Council and the Caroline Playground Committee for their organization and leadership that helped moved the process along in record speed.
Thank you to the over 100 volunteers who gave over 1000 hours to build the playground May 9-11 and keep everyone well fed and hydrated. We couldn't have done it without each and every one of you!
Build volunteers signed up for one or more shifts on Friday and Saturday and many stayed much longer than they had planned. Worked continued well after dark on Saturday. And over a dozen volunteers came back on Mother's Day for an additional shift. We thank them heartily for celebrating with us!
